

M50 Barrier-Free Tolling
Location: The M50 motorway is a radial route around Dublin and is intersected by the principal radial routes, i.e., M1, M2, N3, N4 (also serving N6), N7 (also serving N8 & N9) and N11. Barrier-Free Tolling is now in operation on the M50 between Junction 6 (N3 Blanchardstown) and Junction 7 (N4 Lucan). All vehicles using the section of the M50 between Junction 6 (N3 Blanchardstown) and Junction 7 (N4 Lucan) are liable to pay a toll. There is no cash payment facility available at the tolling point on the M50. Unregistered users must pay the toll by 8pm on the day following the journey. Unregistered Users are required to pay the due toll before 8.00p.m. on the day after use of the Toll Road. In accordance with the provisions of the Bye-Laws the Default Tolls for 2010 for late payment are as follows:
- Initial Default Toll for a user/vehicle class is the Applicable Toll specified for the User/Vehicle Class plus €3.00.
- Additional Default Toll for a user/vehicle class is the Initial Default Toll specified for the User/Vehicle Class plus €39.50.
- Final Default Toll for a user/vehicle class is the Additional Default Toll specified for the User/Vehicle Class plus €98.00.
